Item 大陸台商企業員工跨文化知識分享之研究(2008) 朱閔憶The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships among cultural issue, power distance and knowledge sharing behavior in a Taiwanese manufacturing company in Mainland China for investigating factors affecting employees’ willingness of knowledge sharing and knowledge sharing barriers in the case organization. Since the purpose of this study is to understand the behaviors how Taiwanese and Chinese employees share knowledge, relevant study about knowledge sharing and culture issue is reviewed. The employees from this Taiwanese company in Mainland China are the target population. 23 participants were interviewed and they had a questionnaire before interview. By face to face interview and on-site observation, the research result shows: (1) under formal and informal situation, employees will have different knowledge sharing attitude and behavior; (2) There are cultural differences between Taiwan and Mainland China, and these indeed influence employee knowledge sharing attitude and behavior; (3) From interviewee’s perspective, the most important source of power in working environment is capability; and (4) employees in Mainland China have larger power distance than in Taiwan, and employee’s knowledge sharing behavior is influenced by power distance.Item 信任對於知識分享、客戶關係管理,及創新能力之影響(2014) 李依珊; Yi-Shan LeeIn the new epoch of knowledge economy, organizations have experienced ever-rising intense competition. Knowledge is the major determinant of organizational competitive advantage and sustained grow, while knowledge management plays a key role in enhancing the competitiveness of the organization. The purpose of this research is to explore the relations between trust, knowledge sharing, customer relationship management, and innovation capabilities in human resource industry in Taiwan. A trust, knowledge sharing, customer relationship management and innovation capabilities (TKICC) Model developed by Shih and Lee, was measured by using Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. 128 samples were collected in Pan Asia Human Resources Management and Consulting Corporation for this study. The result showed that trust has a positive and significant impact on knowledge sharing; in which knowledge sharing also has a positive and significant impact on customer relationship, as well as innovation capabilities in Pan Asia. Due to this new trend, higher education in Taiwan have turned to more internationalized with international students from all region of the world. Nevertheless, by pursuing their studies in the new country and new institution, those students will be facing new dilemma or academic satisfaction barrier such as organizational trust, knowledge sharing, and organizational learning. Thus, this study examined and analyzed the effect and relationship of organizational trust on knowledge sharing, organizational learning and academic satisfaction from the perceptive of international students studying in Taiwan. A quantitative study was implemented and statistical analysis was used to test the relationship of each variables. The study uses Partial Least Squares (PLS) and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), as a tool to analyze data collected, including the descriptive statistics, coefficient of determination (R2), path coefficients, t-value, bootstrapping, Cronbach’s Alpha, Composite Reliability results, average variance extracted (AVE), correlation, Standardized Root Mean Square Residual, Heterotrait-Monotrait Ratio, Fornell-Larcker Criterion. The primary data for the study was collected from 225 international students studying in Taiwan. The empirical results of the study show the positive and strong significant relationship between organizational trust and knowledge sharing, organizational trust and organizational learning, organizational trust and academic satisfaction, knowledge sharing and organizational learning, organizational learning and academic satisfaction.Item The Effect of University Culture, Knowledge Sharing, Knowledge Creation on International Student Commitment in Taiwan(2016) 莫姍; Axana VasquezIn our globalized and modern era, organizational culture, knowledge sharing, knowledge creation and commitment are key factors influencing students. The Taiwanese model of education is changing significantly to adapt to the new innovative and technological era. One particularity is the influx of thousands of international students who come to Taiwan every year to fulfill their desires and needs for better education, language acquisition or exchange programs. This study aims to investigate the effects that the universities’ culture, knowledge sharing and knowledge creation in the learning institutions have on the commitment of international students in Taiwanese universities. The results of the study indicate that universities’ cultures have a positive significant effect on the knowledge sharing in the learning institutions, the most influential factor of culture is a cultural strength, showing that students care mostly about how well defined and strong are the shared values and beliefs in the university. Knowledge sharing also has a positive effect on knowledge creation in Taiwanese universities. Knowledge creation has a positive direct effect on the commitment of international students in Taiwanese universities. The study also found that normative commitment is the less relevant factor of commitment for international students in Taiwan.
