公共圖書館銀髮族閱讀空間需求之研究--以臺北市為例

Abstract

The growing population of the elderly has become one of the most important user groups in public libraries. However, due to the elderly aging, the convenience of space and equipments will have direct impact on the senior’s mobility in the library. Therefore, this study aims to find out the metropolitan seniors’ requests for facilities and equipments of libraries and to investigate the current condition of the public libraries' environment. Also, the study is to understand the influence of reading space on the elderly through the comparison of regulations and survey from field trip.
