當 代 藏 人 的 思 維 與 現 代 繪 畫 表 現 之 研 究

Abstract

摘要 近幾年來，西藏藝術的樣貌已不僅表現在傳統文物品以及佛教藝術，而是延伸到全球各畫廊展出的現代繪畫。由於西藏的政治處境與局勢，影響了西藏當代社會，藏人不僅在西藏境內，也在亞洲或西方社會，融入全球化的演變之中。西藏流亡者是世界上最成功的難民，不僅挑戰海外地區的教育型態並保存自己的文化，傳承給下一代。此研究不但提供多層次的資訊，也給筆者一個機會去了解自己的文化及當代社會的價值觀。筆者認為，藏人畫家有能力去探索個人的創造力與意識形態，以創作出各式各樣的藝術作品，同時也可保留獨自的特色及身份。一位藏人前鋒當代畫家洛桑嘉措表示：做為一個西藏人，拿起畫筆，畫布上試著畫幾筆，是一個非常勇敢的行為。 筆者透過繪畫創作描述當代西藏流亡生活，是一種政治及宗教宣傳的藝術行為，也是身為西藏民族的責任。今日在西藏當代藝術界，我們不應該只畫風景，而是需要畫出更多新的題材。西藏當代藝術對社會的貢獻，如同西藏文學及電影等，在在影響了當代社會發生自由改革，提升價值觀或教育觀念。西藏當代藝術不只是一個商標或標籤，而是一個新藝術潮流，更是一個機會或希望可以跟全球藝術一起踏進未來的藝術發展。除了傳統唐卡繪畫，西藏當代藝術是21世紀最新的專業領域，換句話說，西藏民族以關乎自己的主題，使用自己的繪畫技巧來養活自己。50年來，西藏當代藝術的最重要成果，是西藏現代和未來藝術的開創，筆者心中只有一個希望，就是未來西藏藝術能持續發展。

In recent years, the image of Tibet’s art is not merely attached with icons of traditional crafts or Buddhist arts but also extend to some views on paintings hanging in modern art gallery has changed. Tibetans have integrated into Asian and western societies, political success the diasporas' and challenges of foreign culture threaten its identity. This paper will convey aspects of Tibetan culture not often seen by outsiders. Additionally the research has given me the opportunity to explore Tibetan culture more thoroughly. The contemporary Tibetan artist Lobsang Gyatso said “the very act of picking up a brush and making marks on a canvas as a Tibetan was an act of courage”. My art focuses on Tibetan life in exile not as an act of political propaganda or just a simple landscape, but rather as an expression of our history and the contemporary life style of Tibetan in exile. Tibetan contemporary art should contribute some values, notions and criticism to our society. I think for artist, Tibetan contemporary is not just a trade mark or a label but rather an evolution form. The Tibetan contemporary artists are not the Lhapripa-Tibetan god painter. Tibetan contemporary art is the most significant result of Tibetan Diaspora and a gateway to the future art of Tibet.
