3D數位影像於動畫電影創作之研究與應用

Abstract

動畫電影是一種老少咸宜、娛樂性豐富的傳播媒介,同時也是一種完整的藝術型態,在歐洲發跡卻在美洲大陸蓬勃起來。時至今日,動畫電影已經成為廣大群眾視聽需求上不可缺少的項目。 隨著電腦繪圖技術的演進,3D繪圖軟硬體效能的增強,使技術的應用,充滿了創意與創新。3D技術不僅只是滿足人們在視覺上擬真的需求,它也在氣象、醫學、科學、新聞、教育等領域扮演重要的角色。 由於電腦動畫和3D動畫技術的急速發展,促使科技和藝術進一步結合,迸出許多令人目眩的火花。近年來,3D技術更大量地應用在電影電視影片的製作上。 本研究主要探討3D電腦動畫在動畫電影的發展與應用進行分析,並探討3D電腦動畫製作流程,從劇情發想到建模方式、材質貼圖、建立骨架、打光方式、到場景整合。再藉由3D電腦動畫影像模型製作、材質與燈光等效果,運用於電影海報為例進行研究。 從本研究的探討得知,3D動畫看起來是極為與眾不同的表現形式,其角色建模、虛擬場景及燈光效果的技術,是未來影像設計的主流,也是值得我們研究與探討的主題。
The animation is a media packed with various diverting entertainment, popular in all age groups, nevertheless it is also an art. The origin is started in Europe yet becoming widespread in the America. At present, animation have created tremendous demands while majority people are acquiring visual and audio effects. Along with the evolving computer graphics and enhancing 3D graphical software and hardware make the 3D animation application technique fruitful in inventiveness and creativeness. The 3D animated technique will not only gratify the needs of visual simulation, but also play import roles in meteorology, medical fields, general science, news, and education. Due to the rapid growth of computer graphics and 3D technologies, it further integrates with the art, dazzling us while sparkling throughout the way. In recent years, 3D technologies are largely adopted on the movie and television productions. This research is focused on the analysis of 3D animation developments and applications, and also looks into the process flow of making 3D computer animated graphics production, starting from scripts creation, model building, material mapping, sculpture building to lighting design and scene integration. And then combine all of them to create a 3D movie poster as the study sample. From this research we acknowledge that 3D animated motion picture is a very different presentation from the other common objects. The technique in role modeling, surrealism scene, and light effect will be the main stream of future image design, which is worth to study and explore.
