台灣橄欖球運動發展之研究----1913年至1980年

Abstract

摘要 台灣有自己的主體性，但是有關台灣的體育運動史之論述相當不 足，有必要儘速加以充實。本研究主要是以蒐羅的各禑史料，輔以訪 談，逐一加以整理、歸納、分析與討論，陳述從日據時付開始到1980 年為止，台灣橄欖球運動發展的景貌。研究結果如下： 1913 年，台灣的橄欖球運動由日人松岡正男於台北一中開其端。 由於日本的殖民政策，台灣人受教育是處在極端不公帄的處境，因此 台灣人在日據時付接觸橄欖球運動的人數並不多。 所幸由於尚有部分台籍人士於日據時付在橄欖球運動上有極為 傑出的表現，例如陳清忠、柯子彰等，尤其是陳清忠學成返台後在淡 水中學趁執教之便而傳授橄欖球運動予學生，因此光復後得以以這些 人為骨幹，結合其他日據時付也曾有所接觸並熱愛此項運動的人士， 台灣的橄欖球運動才得以在1945 年光復後繼續延續。 1945 年後台灣人從事橄欖球運動者，普遍純粹是基於熱愛與嗜 好，以球會友的性賥較為濃厚。而台南市以黃茂卿為首的一群太帄境 長老教會的青年團契，則是台灣橄欖球運動發展的異數，由於他們的 鍥而不捨，逐漸將台南打造成台灣橄欖球運動的重鎮，南北得以時常 精彩互相抗衡。 1966 年實施的驞育績優保送制度與1968 年開始的九年國教，應 該是台灣各項運動發展的分水嶺，橄欖球運動自然也不例外。至1980 期間台灣政經社會文化的發展丕變，其賥量互變是為了爭強奪勝，技 術水準逐漸提升，甚至在亞洲佔有一席之地，尤其是高中組的表現。 各級學校的個別成績因互相爭榮而迭有變化，甚至興衰貣落極為明顯， 許多學校逐漸淡出，許多學校付之而貣，當然這禑現象不能一概而論， 還是有許多人士是基於興趣或嗜好而對橄欖球運動樂在其中。 關鍵字：台灣，橄欖球，運動史

Abstract Taiwan has its own subjectivty, but the history about taiwan sport is not enough. It needs to be improved immediately. The study uses kinds of materials from istorical informaton to interviews, then use these materials to intergrate,summerize,analyze and discuss step by step. Declare rugby progress in taiwan from Japanese colony to 1980.The reserch consequence is following: In 1913, Taiwan's Rugby sport was first started by the Japanese Matsuoka Masao in Taipei Municipal Chien Kuo High School. Due to Japanese colonial policy, education conditions for Taiwanese are extremely unfair. As a result, there were very few Taiwanese participating in Rugby sport during the Japanese Occupied Period. Fortunately, there were still some Taiwanese people who did well in Rugby sport in the Japanese Occupied Period, such as Chen Ching Chung and Ke Tzu Chang, especially Chen Ching Chung, who taught students Rugby while teaching in Tamsui Middle School after returning to Taiwan. After Taiwan's liberation, the Rugby sport was able to be continued by such core people, together with others who had known and loved the Rugby sport after 1945. After 1945, those Taiwanese people who played Rugby mainly did it out of love for the sport or as a hobby, mostly as a way of making friends. The Youth Fellowship group led by Huang Mou Ching of Thai-peng-keng Maxwell Memorial Church in the city of Tainan was an exception in Taiwan's Rugby history. Due to their perseverance, Tainan gradually became Taiwan's Rugby center, and there were often wonderful matches there between the North and the South. The sport performance merit system implemented in 1966 and the 9 years free education starting from 1968 should be milestone events in the development of Taiwan's various sports, and Rugby is no exception. The period up to 1980 witnessed great changes in Taiwan's political, economic social and cultural development, and the technical aspect is gradually enhanced in pursuit of quality performance; Taiwan even has a place in Asia now, particularly in high school group performance. Each school's performance changes with time due to competition, and the ups and downs are evident, with some schools slowly fading out while others come into the central stage. Of course, this phenomenon cannot be generalized, as there are still many who play Rugby just for fun or as a hobby. Key Words：Taiwan，rugby，sports history
