我國印章產業現況及未來產業發展策略之研究

Abstract

「印章」是獨屬於華人的文化產物和藝術留存，代表著權力和地位的象徵、有憑信驗證、證明身份、傳承交接、便利性、贈禮紀念等功能。經過三千年歷史演進，時至今日，在台灣，每個人至少都有一顆以上的印章。印章的普及和便利性，從生活的各種時機都可以看出，例如文件簽訂、信件收發、置產買房、買賣交易、結婚契約、書畫落款、公司行號、社團法人，乃至於政府的行政命令、法令頒佈，都會做印章的用印。我們一生中有許多使用印章的時刻，印章跟著一個人，經歷人生的不同時期，在每個重要時刻出現，非常獨具意義。印章在過去，代表權力地位的象徵，而如今科技發達的今天，印章是否仍相對重要。在今日台灣的社會，印章代表著甚麼意涵？在科技進步下，印章的製作技術，越發便利和快速，對這個產業帶來的影響是甚麼？科技是助力還是阻力？手工刻印的價值又是甚麼？傳統工藝是否還有生存和延續的必要？在數位化來臨的時代，印章又能用甚麼方式來延續其價值及展開新面貌？這篇論文，將透過文獻分析法以及質性研究的方式，來探究印章在台灣的過往、現在、和未來發展，並透過資料交叉比對，來為台灣的印章業歸納出未來發展的策略。

「越深刻地知曉過去，也才能越清楚地看見未來」。研究者透過文獻整理及深度訪談，發掘到印章的實用性、文化性、藝術性、技術性，與台灣社會的人文習慣、節慶儀式、便利性，各方面都有著密切關連，其文化及情感價值，更遠超過表面的實質用途。研究者整理印章業未來的發展策略，歸納以下七點：第一，集結群體力量來強化產業連結及提升社會觀感；第二，人才和技術培育；第三，文化保存；第四，美學推廣；第五，印章深度和廣度的提升；第六，創新再造；第七，將台灣的印章文化和實用性推廣到世界各地。研究者也期待能透過這份論文，能讓更多人包含使用者、篆刻藝術家，文化保存者、政府單位、技術研發者，都能看見這個獨屬於東方的古老文化，並一直美麗地用當代的方式延續下去。"Seal" is a cultural heritage and artistic preservation unique to the Chinese. It represents a symbol of power and status. It has functions such as notarization, identity verification, inheritance, convenience, and gift-giving commemoration, etc. After three thousand years of historic transformation, seals have become a very common item. Today, in Taiwan, every household and everyone has at least one seal. The commonality and accessibility of seals can be seen from various practices in life, such as signing documents, sending and receiving mails, purchasing and selling real estates, performing business transactions, on marriage certificates, signatures on calligraphy and paintings, companies, corporations, and even government decrees and administrative directives. There are many occasions in our lives when we utilize seals. Seals follow a person through different periods of life and accompany us every important, unique, and meaningful moment.What does the seal mean to Taiwan's society today? With the advancement of science and technology, the production technology of seals has become more readily available and faster. What is the impact on this industry? Is technology an advancement or a hindrance? What is the value of manual engraving? Is there still a need for traditional craftsmanship to survive and to be passed on? In the era of digitalization, how can seals retain their value and evolve into a new phase? This paper will explore the past, present, and future development of seals in Taiwan through literature analysis, research, and in-depth interviews to summarize the future strategy of Taiwan's seal industry.

"The more deeply you know the past, the more clearly you can see the future." Through collecting documents and in-depth interviews, the researcher discovered that the practicality, culture, artistry, and technology of seals are closely related to the seal industry, and emotional value goes far beyond the superficial practical use. This study summarized the future development strategy of the seal industry to following seven points. First, gather the power of stores to strengthen the industrial chain and enhance social perception; second, talent and technical education; third, cultural preservation; fourth, aesthetics advocate; fifth, increase the depth and breadth seals reach; sixth, innovation; seventh, promote Taiwan's seal culture and its practicality to the rest of the world. The researcher also anticipates that through this paper, more people, including seal users, seal carving artists, cultural preservers, government units, and technology developers, can examine the uniqueness of this ancient Eastern seal culture, and to sustain its current methods of usage exquisitely.
