Abstract

This study examined the challenges faced by career women in balancing work, family, and exercise, as well as the effects of exercise and quality of sleep on their well-being. Using a qualitative approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted to understand how career women balance their multiple roles and how their lifestyle impact their physical and mental health. Participants were six career women selected from various age groups, professions. Their age was ranged from 30 to 55. The results reveal that time management is a key challenge for career women trying to balance work, family, and personal needs. Most of participants indicated that work-related pressures and family responsibilities often leave them with insufficient time for regular exercise or adequate sleep. These time constraints negatively affect their health and well-being, highlighting the need for flexible and adaptive strategies to maintain well-being. In addition, the study found that both moderate exercise and good sleep are important for enhanc-ing happiness among career women, though their impacts vary. Some participants reported that exercise immediately lifts their mood and boosts self-confidence, contributing positively to their well-being. Others stressed that good sleep is essential for sustaining work performance and emotional balance, often having a more substantial effect on their well-being. This suggests that the relative importance of exercise and sleep may differ for each individual, and that career women need to find a balance that aligns with their personal needs. Overall, the study concludes that the well-being of career women depends on multiple factors, with exercise and sleep being crucial. It emphasizes the need for flexible time management, family support, and social net-works to improve their quality of life. Future policies should focus on enabling career women to better balance their responsibilities and enhance their health and happiness through supportive measures and flexible work options.
