一位視障者人際關係之質性研究

Abstract

本研究採用質性研究取向，以觀察和訪談的方式深入探究一位視覺障礙者的人際互動網絡、影響他與人互動的因素、互動過程中所遭遇的難題，及其因應與調適策略，藉以了解視覺障礙者的人際關係。 研究發現如下： 一、研究參與者主要的人際互動網絡由家人與在學校認識的人組成，以視障者佔大多數。 二、在與明眼人互動的過程中，研究參與者比較會受到視障以及因視障引起的心理因素影響；在與視障者互動的時候，則受到個人的個性與特質影響。 三、研究參與者面臨的難題依序為父母關係失和、金錢問題、感情與朋友關係問題。研究參與者嘗試化解家庭危機但情況持續惡化的時候就會選擇逃避；金錢問題藉由省吃儉用、儲蓄以備不時之需；感情與朋友關係遇到困境的時候，研究參與者會針對問題做修正，但效果不彰的時候，則會恢復原形。 根據以上的研究發現，研究者針對學校教育人員、相關實務工作者、家長以及未來的研究提出若干建議。

This study is based on qualitative research method by using observations and interviews for data collection. The purpose of this study is to have a deeper understanding on a young man with visual impairment to explore the interpersonal network, the influence factors of relationship, problems in interaction with others, the coping and adaption strategies. The findings of this study were as following: i.The interpersonal network of the participant was constituted by his family members and friends at school, most of them were persons with visual impairments. ii.When the participant interacted with sighted people, the relationship will be affected by their visual impairments and psychological factors; while when they were interacting with persons with visual impairments, it was affected by their own personalities. iii.The participant faced problems of parental relationship, financial problems, problems of couple relationship and peer relationship. Participant tried to resolve family problems but when the situation worsened, he chose to evade from the problems. He saved money to overcome financial problems. When his couple and peer relationship encounter difficulties, he will fix the problem, but if it is ineffective, then he will maintain intact. According to the findings of this study, several suggestions were offered to school educators, practical workers, parents and future researches.
