黎明前與後~重度視覺障礙女性就業歷程之敘事探究

Abstract

本研究採敘事探究以探究重度視覺障礙女性有關就業之故事，運用半結構訪談、研究者省思剳記、其他文件資料，並邀請兩位協同研究者檢核本研究的進行與成果。兩位研究參與者在就業歷程中，如何開展她們的職業工作，包含影響因素與工作經驗，以及她們如何詮釋生涯中的機會事件對她的影響與改變，從中聚焦於她們有什麼力量或她們有什麼方法來使職業工作更為穩定與成功。此外，我怎麼詮釋研究參與者的詮釋亦影響這個研究的結果。 本研究顯示兩位研究參與者開展出不同的就業歷程，研究結果有五：一、障礙發生時間的不同所呈現的生命與就業歷程是不同的；二、生涯中機會事件對於重度視覺障礙女性的就業具有一定的意義與功能；三、生涯信念、工作意願與自我效能對重度視覺障礙女性就業歷程是有所影響的；四、社會支持網絡對重度視覺障礙女性的就業是有正向助益的；五、復原力的展現成為重度視覺障礙女性成功就業的關鍵。 最後根據上述研究結果，對重度視覺障礙女性個人、僱主或主管、職業或生活重建機構與人員，以及未來研究提出建議。

This research adopted narrative inquiry to explore the story of women with severe visual impairment on employment, using semi-structured interviews, the researcher's notes for reflection, other documents, and invited the two co-researchers to examine for implementation and outcomes of the research. Two study participants in the process of employment, how to carry out their vocational work, including influential factors and work experience, and how they interpret career chance events for her influence and change, which focuses on what power they have or what way to make vocational work more stable and successful. In addition, how I interpreted the study participants also influenced the interpretation of the results of the research. This research shows that two study participants carry out different employment story. There are five findings: First, life and employment story of the time of the occurrence of different disabilities is different. The second, career chance events for women with severe visually-impaired employment has certain meaning and function. Third, career beliefs, willing to work and self-efficacy had an impact on women with severe visual impairment for vocational story. Fourth, social support networks for women with severe visually-impaired employment is positively helpful. Fifth, the presentation of the resilience is critical about women with severe visual impairment to the successful employment. Finally, according to results of the research, providing suggestions for women with severe visually-impaired individual, employer or supervisor, vocational or life rehabilitation agencies and personnel, as well as future research.
