dc.description.abstract近年來臺北市政府積極推動對都市內的老舊地區進行活化、再生。 zh_TW
In recent years, the Taipei City Government has been taking initiatives to promote the revitalization and regeneration of old areas in the city. With such strategy, Taipei City Urban Regeneration Office proposes the concept of Soft Urbanism, and gradually revitalized and reused the old space of Taipei City with the support of Urban Regeneration Station (URS). Although it’s different from the urban development strategy of destruction and reconstruction in the past, it will still cause cultural shock to the local traditional cultures due to the combination of external culture and the old hardware. This study takes Dihua Street as an example to discuss over URS, the first execution unit engaging in regeneration of Dihua Street in response to urban regeneration policy from the perspective of Actor-Network Theory (ANT). After urban regeneration, the Dihua Street has witnessed the significant growth both at popularity and number of stores expanded. In particular, the northern section of Dihua Street has evolved from the sparsely populated street into a place dotted with cultural and creative industries. However, there are many potential problems behind the seemingly prosperous Dihua Street. Firstly, how would the residents in Dihua Street with long business history view and adapt to the impacts brought by the new cultures? Secondly, Dihua Street is facing the risk of gentrification caused by the rapid development of commerce due to the fast development of cultural and creative industry.en_US
