聽覺障礙學生網路行為之研究~以花蓮縣兩位國中生為例

Abstract
本研究旨在瞭解國中聽障學生網路使用之現況,並藉由瞭解其網路使用行為、心理特性及其所造成的影響,對學校教育與輔導、家長及聽障生本身提出一些實務上的建議,以協助聽障生培養適當的心態及正確使用網路的行為。
本研究採質性研究,以兩位花蓮縣國中聽障學生為研究對象,透過訪談、學生上網手札、蒐集相關文件及實地瞭解上網情況等方式蒐集資料。並以資料歸類與編號、反覆閱讀資料、叢聚並發展主題等步驟分析資料。並利用錄音資料轉錄為逐字稿及三角交叉檢視等方法提高信賴度。研究結果發現:
網路使用行為:國小四年級即接觸網路,每週上網11至27小時。晚餐後及週末下午成為上網之黃金時段。上網地點以家裡為主,若家中電腦設備不足,可能轉向網路咖啡店進行網路活動。「休閒娛樂」是上網的主要使用動機。使用網站的功能或活動及瀏覽的網站均以「遊戲」為主。上網速度慢為普遍之困擾。
心理特性:受聽力限制,語文能力低下,無法完全瞭解網頁內容。但會利用網路抒解壓力、發洩情緒,並透過網路活動獲得成就感,亦會利用網路匿名的特性悠遊於網路虛擬世界。
網路的潛在危機:上網時數長,易被網路誘導而接觸色情暴力資訊。資訊偏頗會誤導判斷力不足的聽障生。且聽障生不太明瞭智慧財產權之相關知識。應加裝防毒及過濾社群等軟體以保護聽障生及電腦。
網路行為對聽障生的影響:利用網路學習人際互動,與友人聯繫,亦可增加與友人的共同話題,但受語文能力的限制。另外使用網路時間長,會影響與同儕的互動。親子共同參與網路活動可增進彼此關係,但若處理不當,可能造成關係緊張。透過親師的協助能上網搜尋資訊,但若沈迷於線上遊戲,亦會耽誤課業。上網為休閒娛樂活動,可擴增知識,但若使用時間過長,可能耽誤睡眠、飲食、休閒活動及健康。
Qualitative research design was selected in this study in order to understanding the Internet usage of junior high school students with hearing impairment. According to understanding their Internet behavior, psychological traits and influence, proposes some suggestions for educational counseling and parents guiding students working on the Internet. Awareness of students themselves in using Internet is also suggested to hope students using the Internet in the correct manners. Participants included 2 junior high school students with hearing impairment. Data generated from in-depth interviews, student's notes, related documents, and participant observations comprised the material for data analyses. Furthermore, collected data was categorized, coded, analyzed and interpreted. Recorded data transcribed verbatim and triangulations were used to increase data reliability. The main findings of this research are as following: The Internet using behaviors is briefly described as follows: Students started to use Internet since the fourth - grade of elementary school. They use Internet for 11 to 27 hours a week, and often use Internet at home in the evening and the weekend afternoon. If the family computer equipment is insufficient, students possibly go to the Cyber caf for Internet activity. Entertainment is the major motivation to use Internet. The main function or active of Internet is to play on-line games. And the websites of games are their favorite. The main puzzles of Internet usage are jamming. The psychological traits: Unable completely understanding the homepage content. Through Internet activity can release pressure and emotion, even obtain the achievement feeling. Anonymous cyberspace provides users opportunity to explore the cyber world. The potential crisis: Frequent on internet, students are considered at the risk of pornography and violence. The biased information may mislead students with judgment insufficient. Students don't have clear ideas about the intellectual property rights. It should be installing anti- virus and filtering software to protect the students and the computer. The influences:Internet activity is limited to language skills. Through Internet activity, students can learn the social interaction, communication with friends; also increase subjects of a conversation. Frequent on Internet, students might have poor peer interactions. Parents and children participate in the Internet activity can improve parenthood, but it creates relates intensely due to improper disposal. Under the guidance of parents and teachers, students were able to on-line information searching. Internet activity is a form of entertainment, also may expand knowledge. Frequent of playing on-line games would affect their studies. Excessive Internet use possibly has more negative influences upon students’ daily routine, leisure activity and results in worse health.
