動、助、情－台灣阿甘參與運動之生命故事敘說

Abstract

本研究以一位視覺障礙者為研究對象，以質性研究為根，透過與研究對象深入訪談，呈現其參與運動的生命歷程，並藉此探究其關鍵因素。研究者採敘說分析方式呈現，歸納台灣阿甘參與運動的生命歷程共分為五期：一、啟蒙前期：模糊視野阻止不了其對運動的熱情，跑步佔據他生活中很重要的一部分。二、低潮期：高中時夜讀為了考上大學，意外戳瞎眼睛，雙眼全盲以致無法參與跑步運動。三、啟蒙期：在教練幫助下，台灣阿甘參與馬拉松運動。四、巔峰期：在各項運動中挑戰自我限制，不斷追尋超越自我可能。五、推廣期：轉換競技舞台，提供身心障礙人士運動機會。 經上述歷程中歸納分析，台灣阿甘參與運動的關鍵因素為以下：一、「好動人生」：台灣阿甘天生對運動熱愛與好奇，即使面對困難與阻礙也不退縮。二、「人助之情」：陪跑教練秉持助人熱誠、身負責任與壓力、角色衝突幫助台灣阿甘圓夢。三、「溫情四溢」：社會上幫助視障人士的資源與管道漸趨增加與拓寬，提供視障人士更多參與運動機會。本研究從台灣阿甘參與運動過程中發現臺灣視障者運動參與狀況，希冀研究成果能給予政府與民間相關單位參考與建議。A Visually-impaired runner -Forrest Gump of Taiwan- is selected as the research subject. Through the qualitative descriptions and in-depth interviews, this study presents his mental journey in sports participation and explores the key factors for his sports participation. Based on the narrative analysis, this study divided his sports participation into five stages and concludes the personal and social factors for his sports participation. Furthermore, this study demonstrates the current situations of the sports participation of the visually-impaired people in Taiwan. The results can offer some suggestions to the relevant official units and non-governmental organizations.
