Abstract
The job satisfaction and happiness of employees significantly influence an organization's effectiveness and performance. Satisfied and happy employees are more engaged, perform better, and exhibit greater loyalty. Therefore, businesses should prioritize enhancing employees' job satisfaction and happiness to improve organizational effectiveness and competitiveness. This study examines the impact of a long-term multifaceted exercise intervention during employees' working hours on their job satisfaction and happiness, with a focus on work-life balance. The findings show that the exercise group had higher job satisfaction compared to the control group after 12 weeks of intervention. Additionally, there were physiological improvements, including reduced body fat percentage and increased skeletal muscle mass in the exercise group. This study provides preliminary evidence supporting the positive effects of exercise on employees' job satisfaction and highlights the importance of employee well-being in the workplace.
