慾望的擬態：消費社會的情慾圖像生產─劉宇桓膠彩創作論述

Abstract

本研究觀察現實消費社會影響個體對肉體和身體慾望思想層面的連結來探討身在兩種價值體系之下的文化，首先是傳統社會、規範、禁忌與文化下的慾望壓抑及社會價值觀下的的限制，其二是面對二十世紀後有關性方面的多元文化與思潮的衝擊，對情感和慾望的自由嚮往與解放，面對消費主義的人與社會關係的供需循環與御宅文化中的情色意象的蓬勃發展，並透過精神分析學派來分析自我的內在世界與創作理念與模式的關聯，藉著於社會消費對於「性慾」、「愛慾」和「情色」所建構的圖像與符號，構成筆者所幻想的世界；人是動物，也同為大自然中的一環，因此除了生理上的需求，身外之物的物件、象徵圖像與訊息、觀看身體慾望與權力關係的聯結，在東西方的社會文化混合交錯、碰撞的情境以及娛樂媒體建構慾望圖像的消費模式影，響每個人的價值思維及行為模式。

在看似自由創作時空底下與社會價值對情色、性和藝術的結合產生了一個迷惘和模糊的疆界，本創作研究以美好與正面的態度呈現、面對最原始的的「性」及「慾望」，也嘗試以隱喻的方式試圖喚起處在共同時代，在傳統與現代之間，汲取不同文化複合式思維的觀者的共同經驗，本創作研究以梳理筆者個人的經驗為主，也嘗試分析社會文化脈動影響下的普遍共同經驗，包括了外在的文化交互流動與內在對於性的潛意識幻想，而在圖像及訊息的流動而產生的縫隙中，不同個體有著不同的想像空間與演繹情感表達與解讀，但在不同的想像空間中，又隱約存在微妙的共通性，在肉體與情慾、文化集體潛意識與個人情感想像的夾縫之處，是令筆者著迷與嘗試深入探討，也是本創作研究著重的部分。Abstract

The present study explores the culture which two value systems co-exist in by investigating the associations between the influence of real consumer society on individuals and their physical desires and erotic thoughts. One system is the repression of lust under traditional society, social norms, and cultural taboos and the limitation under social value. The other is the aspiration for freedom of affection and lust and liberation due to the encounter with multi-cultural trends of sex since the twentieth century. Confront with the supply and demand cycle of human and social relations in consumerism and the vigorous development of erotic imagery in otaku culture, the author analyzed the association between the inner world of the self and creative idea and patterns through psychoanalysis. With images and symbols of "sexual desire", "love lust", and "erotica" shaped by community consumption, the author's imaginary world is constructed. Human beings are animals, part of nature. Except for physiological needs, the value thinking and behavior pattern are affected by the connections between worldly possessions, symbolic images and messages, and the association between physiological desire and power relations and the consumption patterns constructed by scenario appeared when the Western and Eastern cultures blended and the image developed by entertainment media. There is confusing and blurring boundary for the integration of erotica, sex, and art under the seemingly free environment for creation and social value. Therefore, the present study exhibited and looked into the most natural “sex” and “lust” with jolly and positive stand. Metaphor was applied to call for viewers’ common experiences in different and integrated thoughts about cultures in traditional and modern times. The review of author’s personal experience was the mainstream of the study, meanwhile the analysis of common experiences under social and cultural trends was conducted, including cultural interaction externally and subconscious illusion internally. In the gaps under the flow of images and messages, each individual has his own imaginary space and the way of expressing and understanding affections, while delicate common characteristics exist in different imaginary spaces. The gap between flesh and lust, collective cultural subconscious, and personal imagination has fascinated and drove the author for further study, which is the major part of the present study.
