Abstract
This study focuses on exploring whether the source of happiness among the wealthy groups at the top of the social pyramid will be wealth freedom or spiritual satisfaction. Through in-depth interviews with five high-net-worth individuals, in-depth interviews were conducted to analyze the happiness The sources were divided into 8 items, and then a questionnaire survey was conducted to 173 high-networth and average-networth individuals. Finally, through regression analysis, this study attempted to study the dominant role of wealth in shaping personal happiness. Research results show that although people at the top of the pyramid agree on the importance of spiritual satisfaction, the most powerful source of happiness is still wealth. Because people at the top of the pyramid agree that, no matter how satisfied they are at the spiritual level, the accumulation and management of wealth is still the main driving force in their lives.A very interesting phenomenon emerged through interviews and questionnaires in this study: Although many interviewees participated in charity activities, spiritual practices or art appreciation to seek spiritual balance and enrichment, they still clearly stated that the increase in material wealth brought The sense of security and self-actualization cannot be replaced by anything else. This study not only expands the academic discussion on the correlation between wealth and happiness, but also provides an empirical basis for understanding how people at the top of the pyramid balance material and spiritual needs in modern society, emphasizing the need to pay attention while pursuing wealth. Holistic personal development and spiritual health.
