新冠疫情下實施遠距教學國小教師困境之研究—臺北市為例

Abstract

隨著科技的日新月異,教學現場使用媒體、載具已越來越普遍。然而,由於新冠疫情的突襲,學生無法到校上課,使遠距教學成為現今教師教學的必備能力,此趨勢可能為教師帶來新的教學困境。本研究旨在探討臺北地區國小教師在新冠疫情下實施遠距教學之困境,期許研究結果能給予教師適當的協助。本研究採用問卷調查法,以臺北市公立國民小學教師為對象,共收回456份有效問卷。研究結果顯示:(一)新冠疫情下,教師在遠距教學時遭遇到的困境:教師對於遠距教學產生焦慮、教學工作耗時費力、來自於家長的壓力。(二)新冠疫情下,不同性別、擔任職務、遠距教學年段在遠距教學上所遭遇的困境有明顯差異;不同年齡、教學年資、學歷背景、最近一次遠距教學策略之教師及遠距教學領域在遠距教學上所遭遇的困境皆無顯著差異。(三)新冠疫情下教師實施遠距教學時,學校行政端會提供軟硬體設備、相關資訊研習、教學支援、行政規範。(四)新冠疫情下教師實施遠距教學時,教師會調整課程安排、教材編排、作業及評量方式、班級經營、親師溝通方式。(五)新冠疫情下教師實施遠距教學時,需要的資源有軟硬體設備、線上教材、相關資訊研習、行政規範、家長支持。 本研究提出之建議如下:(一)上級機關能即時提供具體之行政規範。(二)學校要提供符合教師需求的遠距教學設備。(三)學校辦理符合教師需求之增能研習。(四)學校善用平臺公告相關訊息,讓家長放心。
With the rapid advancement of technology, the use of media and devices in teaching has become increasingly common. However, due to the sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, students are unable to attend school, making distance learning an essential skill for teachers. This trend may bring new difficulties to teachers. This study aims to explore the difficulties faced by elementary school teachers in Taipei in implementing distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the hope that the research results can provide appropriate assistance to teachers.This study employed a questionnaire survey method, targeting teachers from public elementary schools in Taipei City, and a total of 456 valid questionnaires were collected. The research results show the following: (1) Teachers encounter difficulties in distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, including anxiety, time-consuming and challenging teaching work, and pressure from parents. (2) Under the COVID-19 pandemic, there are significant differences in the dilemma of distance learning among teachers based on gender, position and grade level of distance learning. However, there are no significant differences among teachers of different ages, teaching experience, educational backgrounds, the most recent distance learning strategies and distance learning fields. (3) When implementing distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, schools provide software and hardware equipment, relevant information workshops, teaching support, and administrative regulations on the administrative side. (4) When implementing distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers adjust course schedules, curriculum arrangements, assignment and assessment methods, classroom management, and parent-teacher communication methods. (5) When implementing distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers require resources such as software and hardware equipment, online teaching materials, relevant information workshops, administrative regulations, and parental support.The recommendations proposed in this study are as follows: (1) Higher authorities should provide specific administrative regulations in a timely manner. (2) Schools should provide distance learning equipment that meets the needs of teachers. (3) Schools should organize professional development workshops that meet the needs of teachers. (4) Schools should effectively use platform announcements to provide relevant information, reassuring parents.
