原創音樂劇《妳離開的365天》編導創作詮釋

Abstract

本劇的發想始於 2019 年國立臺灣師範大學表演藝術研究所上學期所舉辦比賽「樂 戰九」中的「原創團體歌舞劇」項目中,筆者本人是該項目的負責人,以指導老師梁􏰀 授志民指定的題目「喜劇」展開了一連串劇本創作的歷程,當中經歷了一個月的構思、 兩次修訂劇本大綱、三版劇本、十位演員及三位樂手的參與及大約二個半月的排練時 間,最終成就了演出全長約為三十分鐘的原創音樂劇《妳離開的 365 天》,並於今年修 本後在 1 月發展成約為四十五分鐘的演出片段並進行口試演出。本文中第一章為緒論、第二章透過台灣目前同知運動及同志婚姻議題背景帶入故事 核心,連結社會實際狀況與故事之間的關聯;第三章第一節透過「分場大綱」,陳述劇 中事件發展並帶入「佳構劇」作劇構分析並以綜合 Bloom,Michael(2001) Thinking like a director(導演實務手冊)及 Mitchell,Katie(2009)The director’s Craft: A Handbook for the Theatre ,London 總結一個導演該進行的工作;第二節透過角色背景及對林達在劇中的行 動,進行「角色場景目標分析」,了解角色在每一場認知目標、行動與障礙之間的關聯。《妳離開的 365 天》是一部有關於主角在面對自身的同志婚姻關係中與面對親人、 旁人目光之間的矛盾及掙扎,劇情錯中複雜又寫實,角色性格鮮明不一。在四場演出過 後,本劇《妳離開的 365 天》榮獲由觀眾票選的「最佳表演節目」奬項—也是我再度提 起修改、導此部作品的源頭及動力,期望能發展其成為更成熟、完整的作品。
This idea of this drama originated from an Original Musical project in the “樂戰九”competition held during the first semester of my study in the Graduate Institute of Performing Arts at National Taiwan Normal University in 2019. The author was the one who was in charge of that project. The creation of this series of script was developed based on the assigned theme — Comedy given by the instructor Professor Liang Chi-Ming. The process included a month of construction, two amendments of the outline and three revised versions of the script. Ten actors and three instrumental performers participated in an approximately two-and-a-half-month rehearsal, and that was the making of the 30-minute original musical “365 days of missing you”. This musical was developed into a 45-minute version and had been performed orally after being revised in January.The first chapter of this article is the introduction. The second chapter connects the storyline with what happens in the society. It leads into the core of the story through the current LGBT movement and the background of same-sex marriage in Taiwan. The first section of the third chapter describes the development of the drama and brings in the analysis of writing a well-made play through the step outline. It also sums up what had been proposed in Thinking like a director by Michael Bloom (2001) and The director’s Craft: A Handbook for the Theatre by Katie Mitchell (2009)of what a director ought to do. The second section of the chapter delivers a target analysis of the characters and scenes through the background information of the characters and the actions of the main character (林達) in the play, so as to understand the connections of cognitive goal, actions and obstacles of the characters in every scene.“365 days of missing you” is a play in which its leading character has contradiction and struggle facing family and the judgement of the bystanders in a same-sex marriage. The plots are complicated while reflecting the reality, and the personality of the characters are so distinct. After four performances, this play was awarded Best Performance voted by the audiences. This is also my motivation of keep revising and directing this play in the hope of making it a more sophisticated and completed piece of art work.
