Abstract
本研究旨在探討大學校院課外活動組人員工作經驗之研究,研究問題包括:(一)大學校院課外活動組人員工作經驗之內涵為何?(二)影響大學校院課外活動組人員工作經驗之因素為何?(三)對大學校院課外活動組人員之建議為何?最後,提出對於大學校院課外活動組人員之建議。
本研究採立意取樣,透過半結構式深度訪談法,訪問四位現職課外活動組人員;過程遵循質性訪談倫理,並使用三角檢驗法、研究參與者檢驗、以及同儕檢視,增加研究信實度。研究結果如下:
一、大學校院課外活動組人員工作經驗內涵:(一)大學時期社團參與經驗、過去工作經驗以及人格特質是入行的契機與養分;(二)專職分工對於學生社團與校園活力有正向的影響;(三)學生與長官的回饋是工作上重要的動力來源;(四)工作上不斷上演「溝通」的課題,造成業務困難。
二、影響大學校院課外活動組人員工作經驗因素:(一)擁有好的榜樣將影響自己的工作價值觀;(二)陪伴、協助學生學習成長,與學生有良好互動就是課外活動組的工作使命;(三)提升學務知能專業,能對實務工作有所助益。
三、對大學校院課外活動組新進人員之建議:(一)不斷累積經驗,並充實自我專業能力;(二)擁有創新創意的勇氣並保持彈性;(三)盡可能保持工作與家庭之間的平衡。
本研究根據上述研究結果,對於大學校院、學務人員與未來研究提出相關研究建議。
The purpose of this study is to examine the work experiences of the staff of extra-curricular activities divisions in universities, focusing on the following questions: (1) What were the contents of the work experiences of the staff of extra-curricular activities divisions? (2) What were the factors affecting their work experiences? (3) What were the suggestions for the staff in the same profession? Lastly, this study put forward suggestions for the staff of extra-curricular activities divisions in universities. The author employed purposive sampling and applied the method of semi-structured in-depth interviews in the dialogue with 4 current staff members of extra-curricular activities divisions. The whole process adhered to the ethics of qualitative interviews, while the triangulation method, participant test and peer review were applied to enhance the credibility of the study. The research results are as follows: 1.Contents of the work experiences of the staff of extra-curricular activities divisions: (1) Club and society participation experiences during university years, work experiences, and personality traits had motivated and nurtured their ambitions in joining this profession; (2) specialization and division of labor had positive influence on student clubs and societies, as well as the dynamic in campus; (3) The feedback of students and supervisors turned into crucial motivation for their work; and (4) the issues of “communication” that emerged frequently in their work brought difficulties to the operations. 2.Factors affecting the work experiences of staff of extracurricular activities divisions in universities are as follows: (1) Having a good role model would affect one’s work values; (2) accompanying and helping students to learn and grow, and having good interactions with them were the missions of extracurricular activities divisions; and (3) enhancing professional competences in student affairs could be beneficial to their practical work. 3.Suggestions for new staff of extracurricular activities divisions in universities: (1) Continue to accumulate experience and enhance one’s professional competence; (2) have the courage to be innovative and creative while remaining flexible; and (3) maintain work-family balance as far as possible. Based on the above research results, this study proposes relevant research suggestions for universities, staff of student affairs, and future studies.
