Item 1998年造訪圖書資訊學(國立台灣師範大學圖書資訊研究所, 2000-04-??) 楊美華等Objective: To encourage health sciences librarians in Taiwan to submit structured abstracts in English that summarize their library-related research projects to the periodical Hypothesis. These abstracts are intended to raise awareness about relevant Taiwanese research primarily among health sciences librarians in the US. This awareness might result in US librarians citing Taiwanese library science journals more frequently and lead to greater US-Taiwan research collaboration in the future. Method: Narrative essay. Presents elements of a standard structured abstract and a sample structured abstract based upon one of the primary author's recent publications. Result: Pending Goal will be to increase awareness about relevant health sciences library science research in Taiwan among health sciences librarians in the US. Increased awareness of library-related research in Taiwan potentially will improve systematic reviews for all health sciences librarians.Item A Chinese MARC-Oriented Study on the Establishment Feasibility of the East Asian MARC System(國立台灣師範大學圖書資訊研究所, 1985-04-??) Shengli Ren; Ronald RousseauThis article describes some indicators provided by ISI’s Journal citation Reports (edition 1998) for the field of geosciences. This field is subdivided in twenty categories. Average values of the journal impact factor, total number of citations, immediacy index, and the number of source items are given and discussed. What made them fail to make to the top ﹖ This could be a complicated and sensitive question, and there may have a variety of reasons. Very objectively, the author dissects possible factors according to basic elements of leadership--creative visions, good communication, and enthusiasm to examine the issue. Nelson ChouItem An Emerging Research Topic: Digital Workplace(國立台灣師範大學圖書資訊學研究所, 2016-04-??) 陳佳香; Chia-Hsiang Chen數位職場（digital workplace）是一個重要的研究議題，研究者和實務工作者對於此概念仍十分分歧，未來數位工作場所將結合數位科學進行資訊實踐的參與合作，融合虛實資訊創造、保存、修復、傳遞、交流和取用的素養，數位科技和實體空間緊密結合，形塑為跨越時間空間的摩登數位（digimodernism）的多重交流時代。在社會與技術進化的複雜過程中，將結合理論和實務研究以探析資訊經驗、勞動和動態活動的模式，包括機構發展新工具設施來延伸工作、組織動力改變（壓力、合作、生產力、年齡等），在變動的資訊環境進程中，未來的工作者都需要錘鍊新數位技能和資訊經驗。本文報導歐洲職場資訊網絡（European Network for Workplace Information，ENWI）2015 年會議中的三個主題：職場資訊實踐、數位科學的資訊挑戰和我在這裡工作：跨管道、混合空間，以及摩登數位的挑戰，介紹學術傳播模式，作為瞭解職場數位職場和數位圖書館永續經營的研究參考。Item An Implementation of Distributed Framework of Artificial Neural Network for Big Data Analysis(國立台灣師範大學圖書資訊學研究所, 2016-10-??) 張景堯; 劉文卿; 何善豪; Jiing-Yao Chang, Wen-Ching Liou, Shan Hao Ho本研究設計一個分散式類神經網路框架以處理巨量資料之即時分析並能在極短的時間內得到不錯的結果。我們的實驗結果顯示在24 核心叢集平台上訓練分散式類神經網路模型可於17 秒收斂，進行預測時在0.7 投票閥值（voting threshold）設定下採用分層多重模型（multi-model with stratification）可獲得最多的真陽性結果且準確率達70%左右。在我們所建構的系統裡，類神經網路是用在資料採礦階段來發掘金融時間序列資料之模式。我們將訓練類神經網路的框架建置在分散式運算平台上，該平台我們採用具高效能記憶體內運算（in-memory computing）的Apache Spark 來建造底層基礎的運算叢集環境。我們評估了一些特別適用於預測金融時間序列資料的分散式後向傳導演算法，加以調整並整合進我們所設計的框架。同時，我們也提供了許多細部的選項，讓使用者在進行類神經網路建模時能有很高的客製化彈性。Item An Overview of the Google Books Project and Other Digitization Initiatives(國立台灣師範大學圖書資訊研究所, 2011-04-??) Holley本文分析了Google Books 對學術圖書館館藏發展的影響，並概述了其他大規模數位化的專案。本文重點在民對這些數位化專案所面臨的障礙之探討，如版權問題、長程技術規劃、和持久性資金憊款。作者也探討了這些數位化專案對圖書館館藏保存和保護所扮演的角色。文章最後審視了這些專案將如何改變公眾對圖書館資源的使用和獲取資訊的需求，並提供圖書館在面臨大量開放性豐富數位資源的情況下，如何保持其職能相關性之幾點思考。
