莊子哲學可以逍遙二字貫通之。何謂逍遙﹖歷來學者詮釋不一。本文先分別以「無待無為」、「適性」、「即色義」來揭示莊子、向郭、支遁三家之逍遙觀。再進而比較三者之關係,從中探討以下兩個問題: 一是向郭逍遙義能否真的相應莊子之旨趣﹖一是支遁的逍遙義真能取代向郭之原注嗎﹖希望藉由對原典的解讀與理解,能對逍遙義有較周全的認識。綜觀莊子、向郭與支遁三家之逍遙義,儘管其觀點不一,然卻有其共通之處,即是惟有在無待境地上的聖人,才稱得上真正的逍遙。
