dc.description.abstractSymphonies of Wind Instruments by Igor Stravinsky is always a challenge for conductors. From the conductor’s perspective, this thesis looks into the composer’s life and the composition background of Symphonies of Wind Instruments; as well as the structures, forms, themes, motives and tempo changes in the piece. The thesis focuses on the conducting technique, and hopes to find hopes the best solutions for conductor who is interested in performing this piece.en_US
