台北市公立高級職業學校電機科學生對英語教師教學滿意度之研究

Abstract
本研究旨在探討台北市公立高級職業學校電機科學生對英語教師之教學滿意度。為達成研究目的,首先透過文獻的整理與分析,建立研究的整體架構,其次,根據文獻分析的結果,編製「台北市公立高級職業學校電機科學生對英語教師教學滿意度問卷」為研究工具,此問卷具有良好的信、效度。
本研究採用問卷調查法,以台北地區九十五學年度公立高級職業學校(以下簡稱高職)5所、1338位學生為母群體。共抽取5所學校、618名學生為施測對象,實際回收樣本數共618份,經剔除無效問卷,獲得有效樣本524份。經分析結果,說明如下:
一、電機科學生對英語教師教學滿意度傾向於「滿意」。
二、電機科學生對英語教師教學滿意度程度,因背景因素(就讀年級、上學期英語科總成績)的不同而有差異。
三、電機科學生對英語教師教學滿意度程度,雖然其背景因素(性別、每週在家學習英語科目時間、英語相關課後活動)不同,但其滿意程度並無顯著差異。
四、電機科學生背景因素(性別與上學期英語科總成績)之間無顯著的關聯存在。
五、電機科學生背景因素(每週在家學習英語科目時間與上學期英語科總成績)、(不同英語相關課後活動與上學期英語科總成績)、(每週在家學習英語科目時間與不同英語相關課後活動)之間有顯著的關聯存在。
根據文獻分析、研究發現及結論,研究者對教師、學生、學校、主管教育行政機關及後續研究者分別提出一些建議,以供改進教學及後續研究之參考。
The main purpose of this thesis is to explore the students’ satisfaction toward English teachers’ teaching - electrical engineering department in public vocational high school in Taipei as an example. To attain to the purpose of the study, the literature was firstly reviewed and discussed to build the framework of this study. The second one, according to the results of the literature study, the questionnaire was entitled “Questionnaire to survey the electrical engineering department students’ satisfaction toward English teachers’ teaching in public vocational high school in Taipei”. It possessed very high reliability and validity. The research method employed in this study was the survey method with a questionnaire. There were 1338 students’ of the electrical engineering department in 5 public vocational high schools in Taipei area. A sample of 618 students was clustered random sampling from 5 schools. Finally, there were 524 valid responses from the survey of the target students. The outcomes of this study were list as follows: 1. The electrical engineering department students’ satisfaction toward English teachers’ teaching was above average level. 2. The satisfaction degree of the electrical engineering department students’ satisfaction toward English teachers’ teaching appeared significant difference among the following students’ background variance, such as academic grade, the results of English of last semester. 3. The satisfaction degree of the electrical engineering department students’ satisfaction toward English teachers’ teaching appeared the same level among the following students’ background variance, such as sex, the hours of studying English at home every week, the activities of English after school. 4. There is no bearing conspicuously on the students’ sex and the results of English of last semester. 5. There are obvious differences on the hours of studying English at home every week and the results of English of last semester, the activities of English after school and the results of English of last semester, the hours of studying English at home every week and the results of English of last semester. According to the findings and conclusions of the research, some suggestions were made for teachers, students, vocational high schools, educational administrative organs and the further studies respectively.
