Abstract

本碩士論文以父母心理控制與兒童關係攻擊之關聯為主軸,檢視兩者的時間關聯性(研究一),以及親子關係品質在父母心理控制與兒童關係攻擊之間所扮演的調節角色(研究二)。研究一中,研究參與者為406位學童(男生215位、女生191位)。學童分別在五、六年級下學期以自陳式量表填答其所知覺之父母心理控制程度、以同儕提名進行關係攻擊之測量。結果發現,父親心理控制正向預測兒子隔年的關係攻擊傾向;母親心理控制正向預測女兒隔年的關係攻擊傾向。然而,子女關係攻擊對於父母隔年的心理控制傾向不具預測效果。研究二中,研究參與者為193位學童(男生92位、女生101位)及其家長。學童在五年級下學期以自陳式量表填答其所知覺之父母心理控制程度,並在五、六年級下學期以同儕提名進行關係攻擊之測量;父母則在學童六年級上學期評估其親子關係品質。結果發現,親子關係品質的調節效果僅存在於母親心理控制與女兒關係攻擊之關聯。當母女關係品質不佳,母親心理控制正向預測女兒隔年的關係攻擊傾向;當母女關係品質愈佳,母親心理控制則負向預測女兒隔年的關係攻擊傾向。最後,本碩士論文亦提供相關討論、實務建議、未來研究方向及研究限制等說明。
This master’s thesis explored the association between parental psychological control and children’s relational aggression, investigated its temporal association (Study 1), and examined the moderating role of parent-child relational quality (Study 2). In Study 1, a total of 406 children (215 boys and 191 girls) participated. Child reports of paternal and maternal psychological control and peer-nominated relational aggression were administered at the spring semester of both fifth and sixth grade. The results revealed that paternal psychological control was positively associated with boys’ relational aggression one year later, and maternal psychological control was positively associated with girls’ relational aggression one year later. However, children’s relational aggression was not associated with parental psychological control one year later. In Study 2, a total of 193 children (92 boys and 101 girls) and their parents participated. Child reports of paternal and maternal psychological control, parent reports of parent-child relational quality, and peer-nominated relational aggression were administered at the spring semester of fifth grade, the fall semester of sixth grade, and the spring semester of both fifth and sixth grade. The results demonstrated that the moderating role of parent-child relational quality only occurred in mother-daughter dyads where maternal psychological control was positively associated with girls’ relational aggression in the context of worse mother-daughter relational quality, and maternal psychological control was negatively associated with girls’ relational aggression in the context of better mother-daughter relational quality. Discussions, implications, directions for future study, and limitations of the current master’s thesis were further provided.
