Abstract
本研究旨在探討「摘要策略課程」對國中七年級低成就學生的摘要能力與閱讀理解能力之影響。研究方法採準實驗設計中的不等組前後測設計,以新北市一所國中七年級15名低成就學生為對象,實驗組有7位學生、控制組有8名學生。實驗組接受10節課之摘要策略課程,控制組則未接受教學實驗處理;兩組學生皆接受前測與後測。研究工具為摘要測驗與閱讀理解能力成長測驗,將兩項測驗所得資料進行共變數分析,以了解參與摘要策略課程之學生摘要能力與閱讀理解能力是否有所提升。
本研究提出一套適合國中七年級低成就學生之摘要策略課程,並發現此課程能顯著提升學生摘要能力與閱讀理解能力。最後,根據本研究之結果,提出未來教學及研究上之建議。
The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of "Summarization Strategy Instruction" on the summarizing ability and reading comprehension ability of seventh grade students. A quasi-experiment design was adopted to the present study. Sixteen low-achieving seventh graders from New Taipei City were divided into two groups. Seven students in the experimental group received “Summarization Strategy Course”, while the rest of the nine students in the control group. Both groups of students received pre-test and post-test. The data were collected from two research tools including the summarizing test and the reading comprehension growth test . Covariance analysis was conducted to examine whether the students’ summarizing ability and reading comprehension ability have been improved. With the purpose of proposing a set of summarization strategy courses suitable for low-achieving students in grade 7, this study found that this course could significantly improve the summarizing ability and the reading comprehension ability of students. Finally, suggestions for future teaching and research were proposed based on the results of this study.
