搖滾樂創作及社會參與之研究－以董事長樂團為例

Abstract

本研究探討搖滾樂創作與社會參與、社會議題的關係，並以董事長樂團的六首歌曲為例。文獻首先彙整搖滾樂在台灣流行音樂的主流及產業上的發展，語言特性對音樂創作的影響，及過去搖滾樂與社會運動之關聯。研究方法是文獻分析法、訪談法、個案研究法。研究首先闡述董事長樂團歌曲《攏袂歹勢》、《找一個新世界》、《眾神護台灣》、《美麗啊》、《風中浮沉的花蕊》、《撐》的創作源起與元素，與歌詞的自我剖析，為流行音樂詞曲創作之案例分享；彙整歌曲相關的新聞報導，說明搖滾樂與社會參與的連動；並由專家訪談瞭解搖滾樂如何跨界創作以呼應社會現象，與專家對台語流行音樂創作的建議。本研究為搖滾樂創作、社會參與、與台語創作提出貢獻。

Present research investigates the relationship and interlinking among creation of rock n’ roll songs, social participation, and social issues, and taking six songs of “Chairman” as the examples which are “攏袂歹勢”, “Find a New World”, “God Bless Taiwan”, “Beautiful”, “Floating Flowers in the Wind”, and “Stand by You”. Present research summarizes the development of rock and roll in the stream and industry of popular music, the influence of characteristics of Taiwanese on song creation, and the relationship between rock and roll and social movement. Research method of present research includes document analysis, interview, and case study. Results describe the origins and elements of creation, and analyzes the lyrics for aforementioned songs, summarized relevant news and audience responses accordingly in order to discuss the interlinking between rock and roll and social participation. Present research has interviewed the producer of Musical “Floating Flowers in the Wind” and song writers of this song, and integrates the suggestions for crossover creation and Taiwanese song creations. Present research contributes to rock and roll songs creation, social participation, and Taiwanese song writing.
