超現實風格應用於小劇場戲劇宣傳卡之創作

Abstract

本研究探討超現實風格於小劇場戲劇宣傳卡之應用，研究目的在於：（1）分類臺灣小劇場戲劇宣傳卡的使用視覺風格與卡片折疊樣式，進一步分析超現實風格表現手法之使用；（2）尋求超現實風格運用於戲劇宣傳卡上的可能性。本研究方法為分析2014年1月至2016年6月在牯嶺街小劇場以及兩廳院實驗劇場戲劇演出的既有宣傳卡樣本61張，以及訪談4名劇團團長與1名劇團製作人。根據研究結果進行宣傳卡之創作，並依循實際合作劇團的預算限制，設計4款結合超現實表現手法的宣傳卡形式。於創作結果中研擬出超現實視覺風格宣傳卡之4項步驟：（1）抽取視覺元素；（2）卡片形式考量；（3）畫面構造；（4）表現手法的選擇。研究結論發現：（1）超現實風格應用於小劇場戲劇宣傳卡的比例增加；（2）單張雙面印刷的卡片為大宗；（3）卡片摺線越多，紙張面積越大；（4）有摺線的卡片較具吸引力；（5）有「空間性」影響的超現實表現手法最常見；（6）卡片的形式應與視覺結合；（7）影響觀者感興趣最大因素為尺寸、顏色、材質與摺線；（8）預算之多寡對宣傳卡設計有所影響；（9）抽象風格不適用於戲劇宣傳卡；（10）寫實風格依舊為最常使用風格。透過結合超現實風格的表現手法呈現宣傳卡不同形式之可能性，使宣傳卡在設計過程中能有更多思考途徑與選擇。This study explores the surrealistic style applied on experimental theatre drama promotion card, the study focuses on: (1) Classify the use of visual styles and fold types of Taiwanese experimental theatre drama promotion cards; (2) Explore the different possibilities of surrealistic style applied on the experimental theatre drama promotion cards. This study analysed 61 promotion cards of Guling Street Avant-garde Theatre and NTCH Experimental Theatre’s drama production between January 2014 to June 2016, and interviewed the head of 4 experimental theatre company and 1 theatre company producer. Promotion cards are designed with the result of the study, 4 different promotion cards applied with surrealistic styles were created within the theatre company budget. Through the prossess of creating the cards, 4 steps of applying surrealistic styles on the promotion cards are arranged as follows: (1) Abstract the visual elements needed; (2) Decide the types of cards will be used; (3) The layout; (4) Choose the surrealistic styles. This study discovered 10 aspects: (1) The number of promotion cards applied with surrealistic styles have increased; (2) Single cards with double side printed are mostly used; (3) When there’s more folds on the cards, the bigger the card; (4) Cards with folds are more attractive; (5) The surrealistic style with “space” effect are mostly used; (6) Card types should merge with is visual design; (7) Size, color, texture and folds influence the interest of the audience; (8) The amount of budget will influence the promotion card design; (9) Abstract style is not suitable for theatre promotion card; (10) Realistic style is still the most common style applied. Through the application of surrealistic styles applied on the possibilities in promotion cards, made the process of designing promotion cards with more choices.
