法蘭茲・李斯特《祈禱》、《孤獨中神的祝福》、 《黃昏之鐘!向守護天使祈禱》、《舉起你心》四首 樂曲及其宗教關聯之探討

Abstract

法蘭茲・李斯特(Frank Liszt, 1811-1886)為十九世紀浪漫樂派代表音樂家之 一。除了身為鋼琴家，教育家，作曲家之外，李斯特在晚年成為神父，是綜觀西 洋歷史上，難得的一位。在本研究中，筆者自諸多李斯特創作與宗教背景相關之 鋼琴作品中，選擇四首作品，包括李斯特與詩人拉馬丁(Alphonse de Lamartine, 1790-1869)同名作品《詩意與宗教的和諧》(Harmonies poétiques et religieuses, 1853)，其中《祈禱》(Invocation，1853)、《孤獨中神的祝福》(Bénédiction de Dieu dans la solitude，1853);以及晚年創作的《巡禮之年第三年》(Années de pèlerinage, Troisième année，1883)，其中《黃昏之鐘!向守護天使祈禱》 (Angelus! Priere aux anges gardiens，1877) 、《舉起你心》(Sursum corda， 1877)做研究，並基於李斯特對文學作品的熱愛，本文也將探討四首樂曲中李斯 特的創作手法與詩詞，宗教背景之間的呼應，樂曲之組成動機及節奏元素的運用， 盼望洞悉作品的藝術內涵，整理出客觀的詮釋建議。

Franz Liszt (1811-1886) is one of the representative musicians of the nineteenth century. In addition to be a pianist, pedagogue, and composer, Liszt became a priest in his later years, which is rare in overview of the western music history. In this study, I will choose four Liszt’s piano works with religious background, including Invocation (1853), and Bénédiction de Dieu dans la solitude, (1853) from the album “Harmonies poétiques et religieuses” which share the same title with the poems album by Alphonse de Lamartine (1790-1869); and Angelus! Priere aux anges gardiens, (1877) and Sursum corda, (1877) from Liszt’s late album Années de pèlerinage, Troisième année (1883)to study the motives and rhythmic elements, and the compositional devices in accord to present the relationship between the poetry and the religious background. In the end, I hope to grow insight of the above works, and to be able to offer my interpretive suggestions.
