私立高中職學生對學校圖書館服務的滿意度研究-以醒吾高中為例
Abstract
摘要
學校圖書館是全校師生教學與學習的中心,主要目的在配合學校教育目標,幫助學生基本能力之培養,提供學生資訊需求的場所。本研究主要研究目的如下:(1)探討高中職學生對學校圖書館滿意度。
(2)、探討高中職學生對學校圖書館使用的需求。
隨著時代的轉變,圖書館的服務逐漸將使用者視為圖書館的「消費者」,期望獲得優良的服務。而圖書館的使用者因為背景因素的不同,在使用圖書館資源的特性上,以及對圖書館服務品質的感受都有所不同。因此,本研究以圖書館使用者的身份別作為變項,探討高中職學生使用學校圖書館資源及其對圖書館服務品質之滿意度差異為何,從中瞭解圖書館各項服務是否符合讀者的需求,據以做為圖書館營運之參考。
為達上述目的,本研究首先藉由文獻分析來探討圖書館服務的發展及功能,其次蒐集整理國內圖書館使用相關文獻,作為對高中生進行問卷調查的參考,以研究者自編之「學生對醒吾高中圖書館滿意度調查問卷」為研究工具,然後再藉由醒吾高中學生問卷調查,將蒐集獲得知資料統計分析。
研究結果顯示:(1)該館在整體的滿意度低於平均指標3,顯見該館在整體 服務滿意水平上仍有相當進步的空間。(2)高中職學生會因性別、學制、到館次數對各面向滿意度產生顯著差異。(3)高中職學生對學校圖書館的需求事能有更多休閒性館藏,能有活潑的環境設施,最滿意的是班級書櫃的設置。
根據上述研究之發現與結論,本研究提出三點建議,以作為圖書館營運規劃之參考:(1)圖書館應加強圖書館利用指導
(2)鼓勵設置班級圖書櫃
(3)有必要對圖書館經營成效做評估
新世紀教育環境變遷之際,政府積極推動教改,高中職業學校圖書館如何發揮「教學資源中心」的功能,以因應時代需求和教育革新,相關研究結果,亦期望能作為未來高中職圖書館建構為教學資源中心與利用之參考。
Abstract A school library is the teaching and learning center of the teachers and students of the whole school. Its major objectives are to meet the educational goals of the school, to help students nurture their basic capability, and to provide information for students. This research is aimed at studying the junior high and vocational school students using libraries. The primary research objectives are as follows: 1. to see the degree of satisfaction the junior high and vocational school students have towards school libraries 2. to study the needs of junior high school students using the school libraries As more time passes, the service of libraries have gradually begun to view users as the “consumers” of the libraries, and expect to provide good services in the libraries. However, the users of libraries are distinguishing in their backgrounds, and therefore their characteristics of utilizing the resource of libraries and their feelings on the quality of services in the libraries are diverse. This research adopts the identification of the users of libraries by way of a classification basis, and then examines how they utilize and emphasize the quality of library services, degrees of satisfactions, and what the differences are between them in order to provide referrals for the resource distributions and service improvement of school libraries. This research first uses essay analysis to study the service of libraries; then it collects and compiles related essays of the libraries within the nation for reference to design questionnaires for the junior high school students. Finally, statistic analysis based on the information of these questionnaires will be done. After the analysis, the main findings are: (1) The evaluation of quality of service in libraries show that the most valuable and satisfying aspect of the quality of service for the users are the librarians, and the less valuable and satisfying aspect is the internet service. (2)High school and vocational high school students have different expectations for their library, because of contrasting school systems, gender and frequency of library usage.(3)Although they are satisfied with the materials provided, students have indicated that they would enjoy books that can be read for pleasure or recreation, and would like the library environment to be more relaxed. Based on the findings and conclusions described above, the study proposes the following recommendations for the planning of library management: (1) Library use and direction education should be emphasized. (2) Library corners should be encouraged in individual classrooms. (3) The evaluation of libraries is necessary. Accompanying the introduction to an era of a lifelong learning society is the development and diversification of the Industrial Vocational education. As a consequence, the Instructional Resources Center(IRC) plays a very important role in curriculum reform and curriculum development in investigating the function of the Instructional Resources Center(IRC)of the Industrial Vocational High School(IVHS)in Taiwan. As a result of this study, researchers have made some suggestions, hoping that it can provide some help for future design and developments of the IRC, and also as a reference for the future researchers.
