Abstract
This thesis is based on Adler's theory of individual psychology. The goals of the research that we anticipate to achieve include how middle-aged women use healing writing to change their mood. The expectation of the research is that we hope to achieve include: 1. To explore the function of healing writing. 2. Examine opportunities available for midlife women to transform themselves using healing writing. 3. Explore the process of self-healing and self-transformation of middle-aged women using healing writing. In this thesis the researcher is the research object, and uses the self-narrative research method. The researcher collects 15 years of healing writing data as the basis for exploration. The researcher describes the healing and transformation process of writing according to the set interview outline; in-depth understanding, analysis and exploring the effect of healing writing on the inner transformation of the writer. The research results are analyzed in three stages: mud, valley bottom and reversal; dialogue from ancient (old diary) to present (self-narrative writing). Then they gradually deconstruct different stages of mood stories, spiritual transformation and life transformation.Using narrative writing content, in Labov's narrative structure for analysis. Putting the key data into the Labov chart, we can see the researchers' mood changes brought about by the healing writing. During the research process, records including self-disclosure, self-reflection, and self-transformation are presented. It is hoped that middle-aged women who encounter difficulties can learn to use healing writing to explore themselves, transform themselves, and transform their thinking.
