Abstract
This study aims to understand the relationships between Employee’s satisfaction of indoor physical environment, quality of work life (QWL), and general health perceptions. A total of 302 employee’s from a computer company are included. The data is collected through structural questionnaires or interview with valid enrollment of employee’s. the main findings are as follows: 1. The scores employee’s QWL and general health perception are low. However, indoor physical environmental satisfaction is high. QWL need is also high, on contrast, QWL satisfaction is lower. 2. The employee’s of different educational levels showed significant differences in their QWL satisfaction. QWL satisfaction is positively associated with general health perception and physical environmental satisfaction. 3. The employee’s of different department showed significant differences in their Indoor physical environmental satisfaction. 4. Working experience and with more diseases are positively associated with general health perception. 5. General health perception and physical environmental satisfaction were both the significant predictors to QWL. The general health perception was the most powerful predictor. Working experience, job honor need and satisfied with job content were the significant predictors and account for 25.4% variance to general health perception. Based on this study, the results can be used as the reference of health policy making, health care practice, education, and also as the recommendation for the future research.
