dc.description.abstract     本文旨在探究美國種族╱族群問題——尤其著重於教育問題——與美國為因應此問題而採取之多元文化教育措施,並從之析繹出可資我國參考與借鑑之處。本文從美國的移民史分析美國社會的多元種族╱族群與多元文化特質,進而以民權運動為分期來探究美國種族╱族群問題,之後分別從種族隔離與少數族群所遭逢之教育困境兩個面向來聚焦探討種族╱族群教育問題——低學業成就、文化認同問題、輟學率居高不下、犯罪問題等,繼之以論述美國致力於解決種族╱族群教育問題之多元文化教育的內涵與實踐。最後,再反觀我國少數族群——原住民的處境與教育問題,並從美國施行多元文化教育的經驗——諸如教學與學習策略、教師態度等——中援引出對我國原住民教育的啟發與可資借鑑之處,並以之為據而提出相關建議。zh_tw
dc.description.abstract     This article presents the plural characteristic of American society, and then demonstrates her social and educational problems of minorities. The continuing part of that is the solution to the problems of minorities-cultural pluralism and multicultural education. Based on the American experiences, I make reflection on Taiwan's aboriginal education and introduce some recommendations.en_US
