dc.description.abstract | 「醜萌」語源來自日本,是綜合「ブサかわ」和「キモかわ」兩字的語詞,意指外觀使人感到醜陋或噁心,但卻能使人感受到可愛感覺的意思,通常用於角色設計的特徵描述。因為是日本俗語,雖然並沒有學術上的明確定義,卻成為一個角色設計領域常見的新興用語。本研究之內容旨在探討「醜萌」的創作方法,文獻探討「醜」與「萌」的定義,與其關聯性,並藉由與業界專家訪談,研究角色設計如何產生「醜萌」的意象,整理出具體的創作手法,最後應用在創作作品《來自克蘇魯》。轉換原作之恐怖印象,訴求「醜萌」的角色設計。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | The term 「ugly cute」 is from Japan, it`s the mixed word of 「busakawa」 and 「kimokawa」 meaning someone looks strange, but is endearing and sweet. It`s a sub-culture word in Japan and one specific style in character design. This research is exploring how to create character in「ugly cute」 style. Based on literature study, I try to define 「ugly」 and 「cute」 and make the relevant comparison between them. I interview several professional artist to know how they describe and create 「ugly cute」 character. By applying creation method obtained from this study, I convert existed horrible impression on《call of cthulhu》and make a 「ugly cute」 creation. | en_US |
