虛擬實境頭盔應用於商品展示設計創作研究

Abstract
自2019年末Covid-19病毒擴散至全球後,疫情改變了人類的經濟活動方式,昔日單純的實體商品展示已經無法滿足消費者的需求,企業開始運用新的網路科技與媒體和消費者聯繫(潘采穎,2003)。尤其,因爲疫情的肆虐,運用虛擬實境技術在商業活動行銷活動,也愈來愈受到重視。「虛擬實境」是透過人類錯視原理及特定技術的硬體,讓使用者能夠探索及體驗另一個三維空間(3D)虛擬世界的技術。因此本研究是從設計師角度來探討虛擬實境的呈現技術,並運用虛擬實境頭盔(Google Cardboard)進行商品展示創作設計。 本研究分為三個階段進行探討,第一階段用文獻分析法蒐集虛擬實境技術、虛擬實境呈現工具、商品展示設計的相關文獻,藉此整理出虛擬實境商品展示創作的理論基礎;第二階段用案例分析法,選定創作「藝術品」和「預售屋」為主題,並針對虛擬實境頭盔中的呈現方式進行分析;第三階段用深度訪談法,針對虛擬實境影像技術工程師、室內設計師與藝術工作者進行訪談,針對受訪者提供的實務經驗作為創作參考。接著依上述階段的歸納分析製作2款虛擬實境商品展示設計創作,並運用Unity軟體與Google Cardboard結合Android手機作為虛擬實境的創作呈現。 最後經由虛擬實境商品展示創作成果,提出以下結論:(1) Google Cardboard適合作為企業活動和推廣商品的呈現工具;(2) 虛擬實境技術可以讓現實商品的展示情境加值;(3) 人、地、物、時為虛擬實境商品展示設計的構成要素。
Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic which quickly spread across the world at end of 2019, the pandemic brought a huge change in economic activities. Nowadays, physic product displays have not met the demand of consumers. People started to use new technology to connect with others and it included using virtual reality. Especially, people began to attach importance to utilizing virtual reality technology in commercial activities and promotions due to Covid-19."Virtual reality" is built on a visual illusion and specific technical hardware which allows users to explore and experience another three-dimensional (3D) virtual world. Thus, the presentation technology of virtual reality was studied from the perspective of a designer in this research, also the researcher used Google Cardboard for product display design. There were three research methods in this study. First, in the literature review section, the researcher collected papers on virtual reality technology, virtual reality tool, and display design so as to organize the foundational theory of the display design for virtual reality headsets for creation. Second, in the case study, the researcher decided"artwork" and "pre-sold house" as creation subjects for display design and analyzed the presentation of virtual reality in a headset. Last, in-depth interview section, the researcher interviewed a VR software engineer, an interior designer, and an artist, and the practical experience from interviewers was adopted for creation reference. Based on the inductive analysis of these methods, the researcher created two product display designs of virtual reality, also used Unity and Google Cardboard onAndroid phones as presentations of creations.By the result of creations for product displays of virtual reality, the following conclusion was provided. (1) Google Cardboard is an appropriate presentation tool for commercial occasions and product promotion. (2) Virtual reality technology enhances value in product scenarios. (3) Users, virtual space, products, custom time are essential elements for product display of virtual reality.
